Before Harambe, There Was the “Frog Launch” Frog
On September 12, 2013, the crew at NASA’s Wallops Flight Facility in Virginia thought they were just sending a rocket to the moon, as they are in the habit of doing. Instead, NASA’s Lunar Atmosphere and Dust Environment Explorer spacecraft (LADEE) blasted a lil frog off of the launch site and into our hearts.
